The most popular type of Photovoltaic modules are made of crystalline silicon solar cells in various packaging materials. Many manufacturers of crystalline silicon cells identify their products by including a distinguishing mark in one corner of the cell as a modification of the screen printed silver lines on the front side of the cell.
