It has a length of 87 to 102 centimeters, of which 47-57 centimeters are tail.[3] The crowned sifaka lives in western Madagascar.[3] It lives in dry deciduous forest.[3]
Its pelage is mostly creamy white, with head, neck and throat dark brown.[3] Group size is between 2 and 8 individuals.[3]
