It has a length of 85 to 92centimeter s, of which 42-46 centimeters are tail.cite book|title=Mammals of Madagascar, A Complete Guide|author=Garbutt, Nick|year=2007|page=189-191] Perrier's sifaka has a very limited range in northeastern Madagascar between theIrodo River to the north and theLokia River to the south. It lives in drydeciduous and semi-humid forest.Its pelage is almost entirely black. Group size is between 2 and 6 individuals. Diet includes leaves, unripe fruit, leave petioles, young shoots and flowers. It is considered one of the 25 most endangered primates in the world.
