Creirwy

Creirwy

In Welsh mythology, Creirwy is a figure in the Mabinogion and the Hanes Taliesin, the story of Taliesin's life.

She is described as the very beautiful daughter of Ceridwen and Tegid Foel, born in Penllyn in Powys. She has a dark-skinned and gruesome brother, Morfran. Her half-brother is Gwion Bach (the youth-name of Taliesin). She does not appear in the stories about Afaggdu and Taliesin.
