It was built in 2003 along with two other elementary schools in its project. It is one of the three middle schools in its district Carmel Clay Schools. Creekside is also the largest of all of them. This school has been run by Mr. Tom Harmas for eight years as of the 2011–2012 school year.

Creekside Middle School offers a variety of sports such as:
