Crain Ridge

Crain Ridge (74°45′S 63°50′W / 74.75°S 63.833°W / -74.75; -63.833) is a ridge along the N flank of Strange Glacier in the Latady Mountains, Palmer Land. Mapped by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) from ground surveys and U.S. Navy (USN) air photos, 1961-67. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for Harold D.K. Crain, utilitiesman with the South Pole Station winter party in 1967.
