Louis John Cozolino (* April 16, 1953 in New York City) is a psychologist and professor of psychology at the Pepperdine University. He holds degrees in philosophy and theology from Harvard University and State University of New York, as well as a doctoral in clinical psychology from UCLA. He has conducted empirical research in schizophrenia, the long-term impact of stress and matters of child abuse. Recently, his interests have turned to neuroscience and its relation to psychotherapy. Cozolino has published numerous articles,[1] four books,[2] and also maintains a private practice in Beverly Hills.[3]
