McCosker, Stephens & Rosenblatt, 2003Cottoclinus canops is a species of labrisomid blenny,[1] and the only species in the genus Cottoclinus.[2] It is a subtropical blenny known from around the Galapagos Islands.[1] It was described by J.E. McCosker, J.S. Stephens jr., and R.H. Rosenblatt in 2003.[3] Male blennies in this species can reach a maximum length of 4.5 centimetres, while females can reach a maximum length of 5.44 centimetres.[1]
