Cotacachi is a city and the seat of Cotacachi Canton, Imbabura Province, Ecuador. See here for a map of the Cotacachi area.

Cotacachi is an artisan town that is famous for its leather goods and handicrafts. Cotacachi residents are also well known for their bizcochos (a type of breadstick) and queso de hoja (soft cheese wrapped in a plant leaf).
