Cornellà-Riera is a railway station in Cornellà de Llobregat, in the Metropolitan Area of Barcelona, part of the Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya subway line L8, and therefore part of the Barcelona Metro and Metro del Baix Llobregat networks. It's on fare zone 1.
The station opened in 1985, when the metro line section from Sant Josep to Cornellà was turned into an underground. There had been a street level station dating from 1912 up to that year, and the current station is more or less underneath its original placement, Passeig dels Ferrocarrils Catalans. In addition to L8, it's served by several other FGC lines: S33, S4, S8, R5 and R6.
The future RCD Espanyol stadium will be near this station.
