The pink line, mostly underground, links
Plaça Espanya , inBarcelona proper, withSant Boi , throughL'Hospitalet de Llobregat . It opened in1912 as a train line, and was known as "S3" until2003 , hence the name of its suburban extended line ("S33"). It's also part of theLlobregat -Anoia andMetro del Baix Llobregat railway networks run by FGC.An ampliation of the line further into central Barcelona, with a new station in
Plaça Francesc Macià is being projected at the moment. It would link both the metro line and the Baix Llobregat line withTrambaix routes T1, T2 and T3 and theVallès line.Technical details
