Forster & Schneider, 1801Istiblennius edentulus is a species of combtooth blenny found in coral reefs in the Pacific and Indian oceans.[1] It was first named by Forster and Schneider in 1801,[1] and is commonly known as the Rippled rockskipper, Rippled blenny, Smooth-lipped blenny, Toothless blenny, or the Coral blenny.[2] Males can reach a maximum length of 16 centimetres, while females can reach a maximum length of 13.2 centimetres.[1]
