Copra Morpho Piacenza is a professional Volleyball team based in Piacenza, Italy. It plays in Italian Volleyball League. It's the Italian champion in charge. Although the club has reach the Italian 1st division only 7 years ago (for the first time in history), it has already played 9 finals. In fact, after having triumphed in the Italian 2nd division and in the Italian Cup for 2nd divion's teams, Piacenza has lost twice against Sisley Treviso the final to become the Italian Champion; it has also lost twice the Cev Cup's final against Modena first and Russian team of Novy Urengoi second; it has been beaten by Cuneo in the final for the Italian Cup in 2006 too, but fortunately for the fans it wins in 2005 the Top Teams Cup in Mallorca against the local team. Last year, Piacenza lost the Champions League's final versus another Russian team, Dinamo Kazan, and the final to become the Italian champion against Trento, but this year they won finally the Italian league beating the same trento taking a little revenge of the former season.
