Cope Hill

Cope Hill (75°7′S 114°47′W / 75.117°S 114.783°W / -75.117; -114.783) is a hill 1 nautical mile (1.9 km) west of Manfull Ridge on the north side of the Kohler Range in Marie Byrd Land. Mapped by United States Geological Survey (USGS) from surveys and U.S. Navy air photos, 1959-66. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for Lieutenant Winston Cope, MC, U.S. Navy Reserve, Medical Officer at the South Pole Station, 1974.
