Constance J. Chang-Hasnain

Constance J. Chang-Hasnain is an American electrical engineer, and John R. Whinnery Chair Professor at University of California, Berkeley.[1]

She graduated from University of California, Davis with a B.S. in 1982, and from University of California, Berkeley with a M.S. 1984, and Ph.D. in 1987. She taught at Stanford University.

She is a Fellow of the IEEE, OSA and IEE, and Editor for IEEE Journal of Lightwave Technologies.[2]

  • 2000 Curtis W. McGraw Research Award from the American Society of Engineering Education
  • 2003 IEEE William Streifer Scientific Achievement Award
