Confederate Museum

Confederate Museum

The Confederate Museum is located in Charleston, South Carolina, and is operated by the South Carolina Ladies Auxiliary of the United Daughters of the Confederacy, a group that re-enacts the lives of Southern women in the 1860s. The museum features memorabilia from the American Civil War, and is located at 188 Meeting Street.

The museum was formerly located in Market Hall and Sheds from the 1890s until in 1989, when damage from Hurricane Hugo forced it to move.
