Concurrent Engineering: Research and Applications (CERA) is a quarterly peer-reviewed scientific journal that publishes research on computer-aided concurrent engineering (CE). The journal was established in 1993 and is published by SAGE Publications.
Scope
CERA publishes articles on all basic tracks that enable CE, including: information modelling, networking and distribution, teaming and sharing, reasoning and negotiation, planning and scheduling, organization and management, and collaborative decision making.
Abstracting and indexing
Concurrent Engineering is abstracted and indexed in Scopus and the Science Citation Index. According to the Journal Citation Reports, its 2009 impact factor is 0.959, ranking it 65th out of 95 journals in the "Computer Science, Interdisciplinary Applications" category, 20th out of 38 journals in the "Engineering, Manufacturing" category and 41st out of 73 journals in the "Operations Research & Management Science" category.[1]
