The Commonweath Railways NM class locomotive was a 4-8-0 locomotive of the Commonwealth Railways in Australia. The locomotives operated on 1,067 mm (3 ft 6 in) narrow gauge lines in South Australia.

Like many of their classes, the design was based on a successful in another state, namely the 227 locomotives of the Queensland C17 class locomotive.
