Committee of Public Salvation or Salvation Committees (Albanian: Komiteti i Shpëtimit Publik) were criminal organizations set up during the 1997 rebellion in Albania. They were set up in many regions of the country, particularly the south). Public salvation committees were set up and usurped the functions of the Albanian state.
