Commissioner Robert A. Jordan (born October 30, 1983)[1] is an United States citizen, Booz Allen Hamilton consultant, Ph.D. candidate, and elected official that resides in Washington, D.C.. He serves on the Advisory Neighborhood Commission of the District of Columbia, and represents Single Member District (SMD) 7B06.
Biography
Born in Vallejo, California, Jordan is a graduate of Morehouse College's Business Administration program, Carnegie Mellon's Heinz College of Public Policy with a Masters in Information Systems Management with a specialization in e-Business, and is pursing his doctorate from the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship. While matriculating through academia Robert A. Jordan published [2]"A New Model" that examined community and small business financing, was elected class representative, and partnered with venture capital firm Idea Foundry to create the "New Model" described in the published work. As a Senior Consultant for Booz Allen Hamilton Robert A. Jordan has worked within the Diplomacy and International Development market on global humanitarian relief and economic development projects.[3] Robert A. Jordan entered the political arena by winning over incumbent Richard Evans on a platform based more on consulting solutions than politics. He was elected to the Advisory Neighborhood Commission [4] November 2, 2011 during the mid-term election.
