Ricardo Franco Front Command-South

The Ricardo Franco Command, the Ricardo Franco Front or the Commando Ricardo Franco was a Colombian guerrilla group led by Jose Fedor Rey aka Javier Delgado and Hernando Pizarro Leongómez which split from the FARC in the 1980s. Their base of operations was concentrated in southern Cauca in Colombia[citation needed].

It was the most violent guerrilla group in the country known for its massacres of the civilian population and by bloody battles with the FARC. It had an alliance with the 19th of April Movement, the commanders being brothers.
