Colocation America is a colocation provider headquartered in Los Angeles, California, United States, founded in 2000. Colocation America currently serves over 3,000 clients worldwide.^{[citation needed]}

History

In early 2000, Colocation America began in the One Wilshire building in Los Angeles. It now operates out of 22 domestic centers across California, New York, New Jersey and Illinois, with 450,000 square feet (42,000 m²) of total datacenter space,^{[citation needed]} and announced 100% uptime in the year 2009.^[1]

Starting August 9, 2008, the company began hosting the online, fantasy-themed game Ancient Anguish from their Los Angeles facility.^{[citation needed]}

In September 2010, the Dark Fiber Community website called Colocation America a company which is "Making an Imprint in Los Angeles." ^[2]

On October 26, 2010, Colocation America brought forth their initiative to provide the IPv6 Internet Protocol. ^[3] Upgrades were made ^[4] to their Telecom Center location in Los Angeles followed by a swell in staff.

A dedicated server donation was made to CentOS, a community-supported software operating system, on December 22, 2010. ^[5]
