College of Economics, Vietnam National University, Hanoi
The College of Economics (Vietnam National University, Hanoi) was established under Decision 290/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister on 6 March 2007. However, its historical origins date back to 1974 with the establishment of the Political Economy Department in the University of Hanoi. The college then underwent a number of transformations before becoming the College of Economics in 2007.

September 1995: Department of Economy - College of Social Science and Humanities - Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
July 1999: Department of Economics - Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
March 2007: College of Economics - Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
Up to now, COE has attained many notable achievements, contributing to the education and training of VNU, and the nation as a whole. Over time it has affirmed its position as a trusted and highly appreciated institution in Vietnamese society.
Mission
To provide highly qualified human resources in policy analysis, economic management and business administration to meet the demands of international economic integration.
To transfer research outcomes, new theories and knowledge in economics, management and business administration to government and industry in order to enhance the link between research and practice.
To offer high quality consulting services in economic policy, management and business administration to the community and industry.
Training programs
COE offers a wide range of studies and applied research with majors in economics and business administration, giving students great opportunities to build on their interests, skills and abilities. The college provides students with fundamental theoretical, practical, specialized and social knowledge, giving them a crucial competitive edge over others when entering the global workforce following graduation.

Full-time: International Economics, Business Administration, Banking and Finance, Development
Economy, Political Economy.
Training program for outstanding students: Political Economy, International Economics.
International training program: Business Administration.
Part-time: International Economics, Business Administration, Banking and Finance.
2. Postgraduate programs:
Master degree: International Economics, Business Administration, Banking and Finance, Political Economy.
Doctorate degree: International Economics, Business Administration, Political Economy.

Bachelor in Business Administration (with Troy University, US).
Master in Business Administration (with Troy University and North Central University, US).
Master in Economic Expertise and Management of International Projects (with Paris 12 University, France).
Doctor in Business Administration (with Northcentral, US).
Doctor in Economics and Business Administration (with Massey University, New Zealand).
As a member of VNU, COE is able to gain access to multidisciplinary training, a large partnership network of reputed training and research institutes in Vietnam and overseas, and leading professors and researchers in diverse fields. The college is well-placed, when compared to other Vietnamese universities, to organize innovative, interdisciplinary training and research programs, which meet the needs of economic policy analysts and business managers working in a challenging global economy.
