His organ of expression is "A Red Ink", which is edited from 2007. The organization was founded on January 13, 1985 to initiative of newly founded PCPE as his juvenile organization.
In occasions the organization changes name to adapt it to the national language of the territory, for example in Catalonia they are CJC-Youth Communists of Catalan People (CJC-JCPC) (Catalan: Joves Comunistes del Poble Català) or in Basque Country they are CJC-Gazte Komunisten Kolektiboak (CJC-GKK).
Nowadays the CJC have stable presence in the majority of territories of Spain, and from his Congress VI of 2005 they grow of intensive form. They take part in World Federation of Democratic Youth, and in other international meetings.
They have diverse annual important activities, such as the School of Central Formation "Trifón Medrano", or the Brigade of solidarity to Cuba "Antonio Gades".
