D. Justin McCarthy Center, Framingham State University

Colantonio Incorporated has completed several projects for Framingham State University in Framingham, Massachusetts, including the D. Justin McCarthy College Center. On April 20, 2011, Colantonio Incorporated was presented with a Project Achievement Award by the Massachusetts Chapter of Construction Management Association of America. [3] The Princeton Review, in partnership with USGBC, included Framingham State University on its Guide to 311 Green Colleges. [4]

Ecumenical Center, Framingham State University

Colantonio Incorporated, in partnership with Childs Bertman Tseckares Inc., were awarded a 2002 Citation for Design from American Institute of Architects New England Chapter. The two firms also received a Merit Award for Accessible Design in Public Architecture from the Executive Office of Public Safety Architectural Access Board. [5]. The former St. John's Episcopal Church is now the Ecumenical Center at Framingham State University. Designed by architect Alexander Rice Esty, the church was built in 1871 and added to the National Register of Historic Places on January 12, 1990. [6] The custom sound-system was donated by Bose Corporation. [7]

Mara Village 8 Residence Halls, Fitchburg State University

Colantonio Incorporated completed Mara Village 8 Residence Hall at Fitchburg State University in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. The architect was Childs Bertman Tseckares Inc. The eight building complex houses 104 students and includes space for non-traditional students who are over 23 years of age. [8] Mara Village is LEED Silver Certified by the U.S. Green Building Council and verified by the Green Building Certification Institute [9] The Worcester Business Journal ranked Mara Village 8 as the number 16 most green building by gross square footage in Central Massachusetts. West Cambridge Youth & Community Center

The West Cambridge Youth & Community Center in Cambridge, Massachusetts is LEED Silver Certified by the U.S. Green Building Council and verified by the Green Building Certification Institute. [11].
