Cloughjordan House

Cloughjordan House, Step Road, Cloughjordan, North Tipperary, Ireland is C17th house built on to a pre-existing tower house, further extended in the C18th. With extensive C19th and later farm buildings.[1]. The grounds contain the remains of a moat and a walled nursery garden.[2][3] The property is listed on North Tipperary County Council’s record of protected structures (ref S456 & S458)[4]

Still a private residence the house is occasionally open to the public (by prior arrangement) and is (info November 2011) the location of a cookery school.[5]
