Smithichthys fucorum, known commonly as the Leafy klipfish in South Africa and the United Kingdom,[2] is a species of clinid, and the only species in the genus Smithichthys.[3] It is found around South Africa, in the southeast Atlantic Ocean.[4] It was named by J.D.F. Gilchrist and W.W. Thompson in 1908,[5] and can reach a maximum length of 30 centimetres.[4]
