It is the largest outdoor amphitheater in the Portland metropolitan area. It is used for concerts, stage shows and other special events.
Since its opening in 2003, it has operated at a $1 million to $3 million loss through 2008, but the venue is optimistic to change it by getting more popular acts in 2009. In 2009, Coldplay became the first act to sell out the venue.[2]
