Claire Nader

Claire Nader (born 1928) is a social scientist and a sister of Ralph, Laura, and Shafeek Nader.^[1]

She holds a Ph.D. in political science.^[1]

During the 1960s she worked with Alvin Weinberg at Oak Ridge National Laboratory,^[2][3] where she conducted civil defense research related to the potential societal aftereffects of a nuclear weapons attack.^[4]

She is a former chairman of the board of directors of the Council for Responsible Genetics.^[5]
