Ciaran Madden (born 27 December 1947) is a British stage, film, and television actress. She is a graduate of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, and is an Associate Member of the academy.[1] She is best known internationally for her Agatha Christie, Shakespeare, Tom Stoppard, and Jane Austen roles filmed for television; and also for her roles in the films The Beast Must Die (1974), and A Married Man (1984) opposite Anthony Hopkins.
