Christopher Roman,^[1] better known by his stage name Carmen Carrera (born April 13, 1985 in Elmwood Park, New Jersey),^[1][2] is an American reality television personality and drag queen, known for appearing on the third season of the Logo reality series RuPaul's Drag Race, as well as its spin-off series RuPaul's Drag U.

Personal life

Like many of the other contestants on RuPaul's Drag Race, Carrera is gay.^[3] He has been in a civil union with his partner since 2009 (as New Jersey does not recognize same-sex marriage),^[4] although he still refers to his partner as his husband.^[2][3] His partner's name has yet to be revealed in the press, although Carrera has stated that his partner has a daughter.^[5]
