Christopher Cueto de Castille

Christopher Cueto de Castille is an Architect. At an early age, as he was growing up in Nigeria, he found the love for the arts and architecture. These interests were influenced by his father and mentor, SK Manuel Cueto, also an architect and a member of the academe. His early high school work was highly praised by his lecturers that he was a consitent recipient of the school's award for the arts. Upon gaining admittance to a prestigious university in Manila as an architectural student, he continued to show his potential in the use of watercolour, pen and pencil. As a freshman, his works were displayed in the annual college exhibition. He turned his passion to developing his skills in architure as he moved toward his senior year. His designs elegantly combine the efficient use of space, circulation, and form.

Upon completing his masters degree in Architectural Heritage Conservation, he moved to the Middle East where he began designing commercial towers and religious structures.

A constant traveller with a hunger for self improvement, he has added architectural photography into his repertoire. He also delves in the world of 3d and CGI animation as a creative director.

With his in-depth understanding of the Middle-Eastern culture and arts he fervently stays away from the 'ultra-modern' architectural approach as so commonly seen in the rising skylines of the region and instead chooses to retain the design character unique to this part of the world.
