Christopher Corbett is a Professor of Practice at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC).[1] Before teaching at UMBC, Corbett was a news editor and reporter for the Associated Press.[2] He has written for major newspapers including The New York Times, Wall Street Journal,[3] The Washington Post and The Philadelphia Inquirer.[4] Since 1994, Corbett has written The Back Page for Baltimore Style Magazine.[5]
Corbett has also written Orphans Preferred: The Twisted Truth and Lasting Legend of the Pony Express and The Poker Bride: The First Chinese in the Wild West, both of which have been well received by critics.[6][7][8][9]
