The Very Rev Christopher John Armstrong is the current Dean of Blackburn.[1]
He was born on 18 December 1947,[2] educated at Dunstable Grammar School and Durham University [3] and ordained in 1976.[4] He was Curate at All Saints, Maidstone and then Chaplain of the College of St Hild and St Bede. From 1985 to 1991 he was Domestic Chaplain to the Archbishopp of York and Diocesan Director of Ordinands. From then until his elevation to the Deanery he was Vicar of St Martin, Scarborough.Religious titles Preceded by
