Christian Allen is an American video game designer who has worked for Red Storm Entertainment and Bungie and currently works for WB Games. He is most noted for his contributions to the Ghost Recon franchise and Halo: Reach.

Early life

Allen grew up in Eagle River, Alaska. He served active duty in the US Marines in the Military Police field, as well as serving in the US Air Force and US Army National Guard.^[1]

Career

Allen started in games as a modder for Red Storm's Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Rogue Spear, including contributing to the popular NATO weapons mod, and releasing the most comprehensive mission mod, Mission Pack: Deadly Protocol.

Allen was hired by Red Storm Entertainment in 2002, working on Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Athena Sword and Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Island Thunder on the Xbox. Allen become Lead Designer on Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon 2 and continued in that role through Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter, becoming Creative Director on Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2.

Allen left Red Storm Entertainment in summer of 2007 and moved to Bungie, where he took the role of Lead Designer on Halo: Reach. Allen left Bungie during development of Halo: Reach for unknown reasons, joining WB Games to work on an unannounced project as Design Director.^[2]
