Chris Stapleton is an American country, bluegrass, and rock musician. He co-wrote the singles "Never Wanted Nothing More" for Kenny Chesney, "Swing" for Trace Adkins, "Your Man" for Josh Turner,[1] "Keep On Lovin' You" for Steel Magnolia and "Come Back Song" for Darius Rucker.

Between 2008 and 2010, Stapleton was also the lead singer and guitarist of the bluegrass band The SteelDrivers. They were nominated for a Grammy in 2009 for the song "Blue Side of the Mountain." Stapleton left the band in April 2010.[2]

Stapleton founded a rock band called the Jompson Brothers in 2010.[3]
