The Chorduroys Background information Also known as The Chords Origin Easton, Pennsylvania, Pennsylvania, United States Genres A Cappella Years active 1996–present Labels Digilog Recording [1] Website Official Site The Chorduroys are an all-male, collegiate a cappella group from Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania. Originally founded under the name of Chaos in 1996, they decided to change their name to be consistent with the a cappella tradition of having a cheesy musical double entendre for a name. They chose "The Chorduroys" out of their love for the most sensuous article of clothing that a man can own, corduroy pants. The Chorduroys have a long history of performing on college hill, and all over the east coast.
