Chistopolsky District (Russian: Чистопольский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the forty-three in the Republic of Tatarstan, Russia. Its administrative center is the town of Chistopol (which is administratively not a part of the district). District's population: 19,406 (2010 Census preliminary results);^[2] 21,716 (2002 Census);^[5] 21,823 (1989 Census).^[6]
