Chicago Star

Chicago Star

The Chicago Star was a Communist Party USA weekly publication.

Founded in 1946[1], members of the board of directors were Ernest De Maio, Frank Marshall Davis, William L. Patterson, Grant Oakes, and William Sennett. The executive editor was Frank M. Davis; managing editor, Carl Hirsch; and general manager, William Sennett. Howard Fast was a columnist, and Rockwell Kent a contributing editor.[2]
