Chibicon Status Active Venue Expo Houten Location Houten Country Netherlands First held 2007 Last held 2010 Attendance 2,000 in 2010 Official website http://www.chibicon.nl/ Chibicon was an annual anime conventions in the Netherlands. It was held yearly around the start of the summer in Expo Houten in the central Netherlands. It was organized by the Chibicon Foundation, a Dutch non-profit organization.
The first Chibicon was held in 2007. The first two editions were held in Sports centre Galgenwaard. Due to increasing visitor volume, the next two conventions were held at Expo Houten. In 2010 it was decided to discontinue the event.
In contrast to most other large anime conventions, Chibicon lasted only one day. Partly due to this Chibicon attracted a younger audience than most other conventions.
