Cheng Township

Cheng is an upcoming township located north of Malacca town, about 15 km from the town center. There were several housing estates, Bukit Cheng, Cheng Perdana, Cheng Baru to name a few. It also has an industrial zone - Cheng Technology Park located to the southeast of Cheng.

This township is booming because of its strategical location. The main access is through the Melaka-Alor Gajah Highway better known as Lebuh AMJ. It can also be accessed via the Sungai Udang - Ayer Keroh highway. The Melaka International Airport is just a 5 km drive from here.

There are several banks operating here. A number of restaurants can also be found here. Most of them are Chinese restaurants or coffee shops.
