Chen Ji Traditional Chinese 陳紀 Simplified Chinese 陈玘 Transcriptions Chen Ji was an official serving under the warlord Yuan Shu during the late Han Dynasty period of Chinese history. In the campaign against Lü Bu, Chen led the third army, but ended up meeting a grave failure. Chen then followed in putting up a resistance against Cao Cao, but ended up being captured and put to death. He is also featured in Luo Guanzhong's historical novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms.
