The Chatham Stakes is a Victoria Racing Club Group 3 Australian Thoroughbred open handicap horse race, over a distance of 1400 metres. It is held annually at Flemington Racecourse in Melbourne in October/November. Total prize money for the race is A$251,500. The race is named for the Chatham, Australian Racing Hall of Fame inductee and 1930s dual Cox Plate winner.
