Charlie Gassaway

Charlie Gassaway

Charles Cason Gassaway (August 12, 1918 - January 15, 1992) was a Major League Baseball pitcher who played for three seasons. He played for the Chicago Cubs in 1944, the Philadelphia Athletics in 1945, and the Cleveland Indians in 1946.

After his playing days were over, Gassaway worked as a minor league manager mostly for the Philadelphia Phillies organization.
