Early life
Charles Marriott was born on July 15, 1861 in Rensham, Suffolk.[1]
Rugby union career
Marriott made his international debut on Jan 5, 1884 at Cardigan Fields, Leeds in the England vs Wales match.[1] Of the 7 matches he played for his national side he was on the winning side on 5 occasions.[1] He played his final match for England on Feb 5, 1887 at Lansdowne Road in the Ireland vs England match.[1]
