Charles Weston Houck

Charles Weston Houck (born 1933) is a United States federal judge.

Born in Florence, South Carolina, Houck received an LL.B. from the University of South Carolina Law Center in 1956. He was in the United States Army from 1957 to 1958. He was in private practice in Florence, South Carolina from 1958 to 1979. He was a South Carolina state representative from 1963 to 1966. He was Chairman of the Florence, South Carolina City-County Building Commission from 1968 to 1976.

Houck is a federal judge on the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina. Houck was nominated by President Jimmy Carter on June 5, 1979, to a new seat created by 92 Stat. 1629. He was confirmed by the United States Senate on September 25, 1979, and received his commission on September 26, 1979. He served as chief judge from 1993-2000. He assumed senior status on October 1, 2003.
