Charles Filgate

Charles Filgate (born 16 October 1849 at Lissrenny, Ardee, County Louth, Ireland; died 1 September 1930 at Grove House, Pinner, Middlesex) was an Irish amateur cricketer who played first-class cricket from 1869 to 1877 for Gloucestershire and Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC), being a member of the latter. Filgate represented Ireland in three matches between 1868 and 1871. He was a right-handed batsman (RHB) who made 25 first-class career appearances. He scored 563 runs with a highest score of 93 and held 18 catches.[1]
