(2008)Chariots of the Gods
(2010)Chariots of the Gods is the next album by Latvian black metal band Dark Domination that will be released somewhere in 2010.
Songwriting
Most of the songs were written during 2008 and 2009, after the release of the band's previous EP Reign of the Fallen One. During that time, Eligor quit the band, and a new member Dethecrator joined Dark Domination on bass and backing vocals.
Prior the recording of this album, Dark Domination toured Baltic states in 2009; however, only one new song, "Blizzard King", was tested during the shows, because arrangements and texts of other songs were not completed. Titles include "Temptation of Mankind", "Shining of the Saturn Era", "Nero", "Malleus Maleficarum", and others. The band also are planning to record a cover of Immortal classics "Blashyrkh (Mighty Ravendark)" from their 1995 album Battles in the North.
On this album, almost all the songs will be written in polyphony — both guitars and bass will have completely different arrangements for each song.
