The Silver-barred Emperor or Silver-barred Charaxes (Charaxes druceanus) is a butterfly of the family Nymphalidae. It is found throughout Africa.[1]

The wingspan is 55–70 mm in males and 65–85 mm in females. Its flight period is year-round.[2]

Larvae of Charaxes druceanus feed on Syzygium cordatum, Syzygium guineense, Bersama abyssinica, annd Myrtaceae.[2][1]
