Cerovec is a settlement in the Šentjur municipality in eastern Slovenia. It lies 10 km east of Celje and the A1 motorway crosses the settlement territory. The area is part of the historical region of Lower Styria. The municipality is now included in the Savinja statistical region.[2]

A hidden underground structure in the Šohta forest near the settlement, built in 1944, was used as a secret partisan hospital (Slovene: partizanska bolnišnica Zima).[3]
